We have a new name and logo!
May 2008

This month, The Eye Institute has changed its name -- slightly. We are now named Vision Eye Institute, which is a name being shared by several other clinics in Sydney, and indeed even more clinics around Australia, in recognition of all of us now being a part of the one large corporate entity known as Vision Group. And we have a new logo.

Vision Group was established in 2001, and it listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2004. In recent years its numerous practices have been integrated, and now they have been brought under a common banner.

The new identity is symbolic of our commitment to create a unified ophthalmic organisation in which the best doctors and the best staff deliver the best patient care by using the best technology in the best facilities.

The logo change recognises that each practice is a part of a larger entity that is committed to being the number one choice in ophthalmology. Patients can be assured that the high standard of care they have received at each clinic in the past will continue into the future, but now with the backing of the largest private provider of ophthalmic care in Australia.
